Poem, written on one folio sheet, about the first naval engagement of the war of 1812, John Rodgers's pursuit of the British ship Belvidera. The poem is accompanied by another sheet of paper, a battalion order to the 1st Battalion, 11th Regiment, Militia, dated August 14, 1815, and signed Jonathan May.
